In the third episode of 'Second-hand Haul!', I showcase all the things that I managed to find during my trip around the charity shops down in Plymouth.
I'm the kind of guy who really enjoys the mystery of a decent LootCrate. Paying a bit of money for an assortment of random nerdy goodies. So when I found an old, dusty, and beaten up Retro Playstation HugeCrate at my local Game shop, I didn't hesitate to buy it.
A few weeks I went to the Manchester Gaming Market and bought myself a massive Nintendo themed haul of gaming goodies. I really enjoy gaming markets as you really don't know what you might find there.
So this is it! Final Fantasy 8 Remastered is now available for purchase on modern consoles! Which is great, but what I really really would like is a Final Fantasy 7, 8 & 9 physical edition.
When I found a big plastic box full of a black Nintendo Wii and some other random goodies during my search of an Ashgate Hospice charity shop, I jumped at the chance to buy it.
The games industry has a super deep and super interesting history. There's plenty of books out there to choose from, many of which are very good at delving into this history.
Thanks to my step-dad, I've managed to get my hands on the AT Games version of the SEGA Mega Drive. This plug and play console boasts 81 built in games, Stereo Sound, and a slot that accepts official Mega Drive cartridges.
