WASD x IGN 2023 Content Hub

Read Time:1 Minute, 51 Second

After a successful and well-received event at The Truman Brewery back in March/April, WASD returned in September 2023. And they brought friends with them! That’s right – IGN tagged along for a good time. And yours truly was able to snag a Content Creator pass once again to cover it all. So, readers, sit back and relax as you consume all the tasty BestNerdLife WASD x IGN 2023 coverage from their September show!

This time, I’ve gone big. More pages. More coverage. A dedicated hub of WASD x IGN-themed content! At the bottom of this page, you will find links to everything I’ve covered. Due to the sheer amount of content, I’m still adding new stuff, so stay tuned.

For those curious about what I did each day at the event, my individual day-to-day Highlight articles are for you. I’ve also listed my personal pick of the best games from the show floor. It will come as no surprise that all of them were indie games! Because indie games are the best!

If you want a little bit of insight into game development, then don’t miss my interviews with Milk Bubbles Games, and the folks behind the rather interesting Project Diagnosis.

Like previous events, WASD x IGN 2023 was set over 3 days (14th-17th of September) at The Truman Brewery on Brick Lane and featured over 60 games on the show floor to play. These included Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, Tekken 8, and Ghostrunner 2. More interesting (to me at least) was the host of indie games on offer. The WASD Curios: Indie Game Showcase also made a comeback.

In terms of hardware, Evercade made an appearance with their EXP and VS consoles, both of which I haven’t had a chance to sit down and use before. I was extra excited to get my hands on their Duke Nukem collection. Plenty to do, and plenty to see!
